Product Sourcing

Need something you do not see in the catalogue?

Shieldline reviews sourcing requests for PPE, uniforms, workwear, tools, safety supplies, emergency response equipment, industrial products, public-safety gear, and workplace essentials through a professional quote-based process.

What product sourcing means.

Instead of ordering blindly or chasing multiple suppliers, send the request to Shieldline. We review the details, check available supplier options where channels exist, and prepare a quote based on availability, pricing, freight, lead time, and suitability.

Review the Details

We look at the product type, intended use, quantity, brand preference, specifications, delivery location, and timeline before moving a request forward.

Check Supplier Options

Where supplier channels are available, Shieldline checks pricing, availability, freight, lead time, product information, and ordering requirements.

Prepare a Clear Quote

Quotes can include price, quantity, freight, estimated lead time, special-order terms, and important notes before customer approval.

How the sourcing process works.

Some requests are simple. Others need supplier confirmation, technical review, freight details, or special-order terms before they can be quoted properly.

  1. Send your request

Tell us what you are looking for. Product name, brand, quantity, size, colour, specification, intended use, delivery location, and timeline all help.

  2. Shieldline reviews the details

We determine what information is needed. Technical, safety-related, special-order, or restricted products may require extra detail before supplier options are checked.

  3. Supplier options are checked

Where channels are available, we check pricing, availability, freight, lead time, product information, and ordering requirements.

  4. A quote is prepared

Once the product information is reviewed, Shieldline prepares a quote with available details and any important notes.

  5. Customer approval and payment

For quote-only, custom, bulk, protected-brand, or special-order products, customer approval and required payment are received before supplier orders are placed.

  6. Order placement and follow-up

After approval and payment requirements are met, Shieldline places the supplier order and follows up on order status, shipping information, and supplier updates.
